PC Requirements

SuperXtune is compatible with Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

The PC must have a standard 9 pin serial port. Some newer laptops do not have a standard 9 pin serial port. However, a USB to serial adapter can be purchased. I have tested this Keyspan Adapter.

The PC's serial port must also be capable of running at a baud rate of 10400. Some Compaq PCs do not meet this requirement. However, the Keyspan Adapter mentioned above connected to the USB port will provide the required baud rate.
